what it was? Our Salish Sea beaches are teeming with unusual critters and their stories are quite remarkable. If you would like to learn more about what you are seeing at the beach and hear a few stories of the creatures who live there, you are in luck.
Kitsap County Beach Naturalists are trained volunteers who really enjoy sharing their love for the sea and its inhabitants. Come and explore on your own or with others, knowing a beach naturalist is close by to help if you need it. Children are welcome and usually find the best specimens. To top it off… beach explorations are free and offered in many locations throughout the county!
